Principle of operation of the device

Methanol Cracking to Hydrogen Plant uses methanol as raw material, which is gasified and then heated and decomposed under the action of catalyst to produce a mixture containing 67% hydrogen. Carbon monoxide 33% of the mixture. Using methanol and water for steam conversion to generate H2, C02 gas mixture, and then use the variable pressure adsorption gas separation technology to separate H2 and C02 and get pure hydrogen. The by-product C02 can be used as a food additive, cigarette puffer, and welding protective gas.

Structural features of the device

1.At present, the production of industrial methanol in the world is increasing, and the price is relatively low, the use of methanol water vapor conversion to produce hydrogen, with the advantages of small-scale installations, low cost of hydrogen production, and stable source of raw materials, etc., which has been gradually attracting people's attention since the mid-1990s. Now this technology has become a mature technology in the industry, and there are many industrial installations using methanol hydrogen production technology in China.
